Epoxy Flooring Preparation
If you want to install a new epoxy floor coating, the existing surface needs to be clean and a little porous so we can make sure the coating can adhere to the concrete properly because epoxy flooring does not adhere well to polished or sealed concrete. It's also very important to remove all grease and repair any cracks or chips in the concrete before you begin.
Which Epoxy To Use
-
Color Flakes: You can add a lot more variety to your epoxy floors by using pre-tinted or metallic floor coverings which come in the form of flakes you put in the second layer. This creates a speckled pattern of color and texture to add more color and variety to your garage floors.
